Hi! I'm Christian Arthur, a Vermont based photographer with a passion for capturing people and places. Doing something you love as your job is a priceless thing, and I'm so thankful to be able to capture people at the most joyous and tender moments of their lives.
I have been studying the arts for many years. I hold 2 degrees in the arts and have been something of a chameleon; studying music, education, and most recently- photography and the visual arts. I've been shooting professionally for 5 years, playing music for many more, and constantly learning about how the arts inform and inspire one another. I'm so jazzed about my job lately because there are so many exciting things happening in photography right now. Not just from a technological perspective, but in light of the fact that so many people are finding an appreciation for photography, taking it up as a hobby, or investing in quality work. This all helps to further the art form and enrich the lives of all lovers of photography.
My business philosophy is one of professionalism and honesty. I want to know my clients, and have them know me. This always makes for more natural images and a more relaxed experience at your wedding or portrait session. My passion is to tell stories.
